Covid 19 Response

Effective December 21, 2020

With the release of COVID-19 vaccination, please keep the following in mind when inquiring about your cosmetic injection appointments:

Clients may not receive Vycross Filler 2 weeks prior to receiving the Covid-19 vaccination.

Clients may not receive Vycross Filler 2 weeks after receiving the Covid-19 vaccination. 

Receiving Botox or Jeuveau within 2 weeks of your vaccinations may decrease the effectiveness of the treatment.

If you have an existing appointment that conflicts with the above conditions, please contact us at 906.273.0512 so that we can accommodate you.

All clients will be required to sign an acknowledgment of the above-stated prior to receiving treatment at Lakeshore Skin + Body. All signed consent forms are available on the Lakeshore Skin + Body Touch MD Client Portal.

Those who receive the vaccination and do not reschedule their appointment within 48 hours of the scheduled time will be charged a cancellation fee of $100.

Effective November 18, 2020

Group fitness classes will be suspended. One-on-one personal training will continue, and both the instructor and guest must wear a mask during all indoor sessions as well as keep 6 feet of social distance. Virtual classes will be available.

We are temporarily suspending select facial services and select skin treatments that require clients to remove their masks. We will not be scheduling these appointments at this time. If you would like to be contacted when we are scheduling these services again, please contact us at 906.273.0512 to be placed on our wait list.

We want to stress that we are taking every measure possible to continue to make Lakeshore Skin + Body a safe place our employees and clients. 

Social distance markers are in place

Hand sanitizer and masks are available for all guests and staff

All rooms are sanitized between clients

Our waiting area is closed

Contactless pay may be utilized

Temperatures of all staff and clients are taken prior to entering the practice

Curbside pickup is available for product orders

Virtual consultations for anti-aging and skincare products

Providers have access to additional PPE when necessary

We believe that this combination of safety measures, paired with the open and honest communication and mutual respect between our clients and staff, is the reason we have not experienced any Covid-19 exposures at our practice. 

In addition to these steps, we will be monitoring the latest information including recommendations from the CDC and World Health Organization and doing our part to stop the spread of this disease. 

Changes are happening quickly, and we are doing our very best to communicate any news or updates as we receive them. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you in advance for your patience as we navigate through this with the safety and well-being of our clients, team and community in mind. 

We will continue to keep an eye on the situation and make further adjustments to our action plan if and when necessary. 


If you or someone in your household has been exposed or are waiting on Covid-19 test results, please contact us to reschedule your appointment. 

If you are currently enrolled in a Facial & Beauty membership and have been financially affected by Covid-19, please reach out to us. We will accommodate your needs as best we can. 

In the event that we get an order to close, we will freeze all memberships immediately. When a membership is frozen, automatic payments are paused, benefits do not accrue, and member discounts may not be applied to purchases. All unused service credits will be extended respectively. Similarly, any packages with expiration dates will be extended respectively.

Effective June 15, 2020

Although cleanliness has always been priority, we are taking extra cleaning and sanitizing measures between appointments.

Our waiting area will remain closed at this time. When you arrive to your appointment, please call us from your vehicle to let us know that you are here. We will notify you when it is time for you to come in.

We ask that all clients wear a face covering to appointments and that they come to appointments alone. Please also limit your personal belongings to your phone, keys, and wallet/method of payment if possible.

We will being wearing Personal Protective Equipment, but know that we are smiling behind our masks!

We can't wait to see everyone! Please note that if you had an appointment booked during our temporary closure, we will be in contact with you as we are working through our cancellation list.
